Library Program Library PoliciesThe library is open all day for check-out. Kindergartners may check-out one book. First - Fifth grades can check out two books and a third book if the class is working on a book project. Books are checked out for two weeks. Books can be renewed for a longer period if needed. Overdue notices go home at the end of each month. Classes are encouraged to have an extra check-out time due to the block schedule.
Library InstructionSwans Creek Library is used as part of the block schedule. Library instruction includes research skills, book care, library etiquette, information management, and collaborative instruction to support the curriculum.
